Greer's OC is hosting an Educating Jack and Milly: One Cookie At A Time event this Saturday at A Market in Newport Beach with Rasta Taco. Everyone is invited to stop by and enjoy amazing street-style tacos for $1 and purchase delicious chocolate chip cookies from Blackmarket Bakery. Greer's OC is giving away a basket of one dozen Jack and Milly cookies available for pick up at the event. Greer is raising funds for the education of two bright and caring Kenyans. Come out to A Market at 3334 Coast Highway in Newport Beach between 12 and 4 p.m. next Saturday for $1 tacos from Rasta Taco - Southern California's premiere mobile taco cart catering company - and buy some cookies that will help Jack and Milly finish their degrees.

Costa Mesa residents will have two additional days to light “safe and sane” fireworks, as reported in the Daily Pilot here
Phantom Fireworks is at 2150 Harbor Blvd. (Norm’s parking lot, corner of Victoria and Harbor) in Costa Mesa.
It’s open 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday through Sunday. Open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday.
